have started with a Big bang . Sensex opened at 23730 and Nifty 7080
. In the early minutes Nifty crossed the 7100 level . However, the
index reached close to 24,000 .
Now the market has come down a bit . Day at 9:20 pm , the Sensex gained 217 points 23 768 and Nifty gained 67 points at 7082 levels . Midcap and Smallcap stocks also there is 1 %.
Oil and gas stocks surged between 2 % . Power , capital goods , realty shares rose 2 to 1.5 % . Consumer durables, auto , tech , IT stocks are strong 0.8 to 0.6 %. Bank , FMCG , Healthcare stocks is 0.5 to 0.3 % .
Nifty nearly 3.5 per cent , ONGC and NTPC surged between about 5 per cent . BPCL , BHEL , DLF , L & T , Tata Power , GAIL , Power Grid , M & M , Bharti Airtel , Ambuja Cements rose from 2.5 to 1.5 per cent .
